You can use Evergreen to send notifications to your patrons. These notices can be for Holds that are ready, upcoming due dates for materials that have been checked out, and overdue notices for past due materials.
To create email overdue notices, you must have these four things set up for your library.
- Normal dates and hours of operation should be set up and correct. (See instructions)
- Holidays and special closed dates (See instructions)
- Circulation Rules for your library must be correct
- E-mail addresses for your patrons
Note: Make sure that firewalls at the receiving site must allow incoming mail from Evergreen.
